About Me

My name is Kaize Yuan, though you can call me Tony. I recently graduated with a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University.

As a passionate and committed engineer, my professional goal is to apply my knowledge and skills to contribute meaningfully to my team, the engineering field, and society as a whole. With this objective, I served as a teaching staff member in five classes during my undergraduate and graduate studies. Even during the most challenging times of the pandemic, I remained dedicated to supporting my peers and maintaining high academic standards.

Throughout my academic journey, I have worked on various exciting projects with my teammates, including 3D food printing, quadrupedal robot design and manufacturing, programmable 3D CAD modeling with topology optimization, electric cart and hybrid vehicle design, vaccination and underwater robot development, and more.

While the pursuit of excellence is an ongoing journey, I wholeheartedly embrace the challenges and enjoy every step of the process.

Areas of interest: mechanical design and advanced manufacturing.
